It’s almost time for Bessie’s Diner’s sixth annual Fly-in or Drive-in Pancake Breakfast at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport in Janesville, WI, where you can experience two of our favorite things: pancakes and planes. Enjoy an all-you-can-eat breakfast with perfect views of new and vintage airplanes flying in to visit. Our event was such a success last year that we are expanding it to two full days!

Where can I purchase tickets?
Purchase tickets online here and skip the line the day of! Tickets can also be purchased with card or cash at the door.
Is there a difference in cost if I get my tickets online vs. in person?
Nope! No matter where you purchase tickets, they’re $18 and $12 for children ages 4-10. Kids age 3 & under attend for free.
What do I get with my ticket purchase?
The ticket includes a single day of admission on either Saturday, June 15 or Sunday, June 16. While you're here you'll get access to display planes, interactive kid activities, and of course, all-you-can-eat pancakes, sausage, bacon, coffee, milk, and orange juice outside next to the runway!
Is this family-friendly?
Absolutely! It's Father's Day weekend, so we hope to see the whole family out celebrating. Kids age 3 and under enter and eat for free.
Will I see planes?
So many planes!
Can I fly in a plane?
Take to the skies on a discovery flight with a Certified Flight Instructor from Revv Aviation! Flights can be purchased on a first-come, first-served basis at the event (*$99+tax per flight, approx. 30 mins, up to two passengers, subject to weight restrictions). Can I purchase any souvenirs?
We have Bessie’s Diner t-shirts, coffee mugs, jumbo airplane toys, and more for sale at the event!
Will the inside dining room be open?
Yes, but we will only be serving the pancake breakfast buffet for the day. Burgers and salads will have to wait... only pancakes during the pancake fly-in!
Where do I park my car? Or my plane?
Car parking is located right in front of the diner when you arrive. There will be plenty of aircraft parking not only on the ramp directly behind Bessie's but east and west of the terminal building, as well.
Can I walk out to see the airplanes?
There will be a designated display area of new and vintage planes where guests are welcome to walk. Guests aren’t allowed to walk in any other part of the aircraft parking area unescorted. If a pilot chooses, they may escort someone to view their personal airplane.
Can I smoke at the event?
Smoking is prohibited on the ramp side of the terminal building. A smoking stand is available on the vehicle parking lot side of the terminal near the flagpole.
What happens if it rains?
In the event of rain, we’ll move inside to the conference rooms at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport.
Where can I stay the night?
Extend your stay and book a reservation at one of the boutique hotels in downtown Beloit. Book at Ironworks Hotel for a cool, comfortable stay overlooking the Rock River, or get your groove on at the chic, classic Hotel Goodwin. You can’t go wrong!
