MELITA JENSEN - GENERAL MANAGER
Melita began her hospitality career at the age of 14 when she worked as a busser and host at the Liberty Inn in Beloit. Throughout her college days, she served in roles as a server and bartender at Buffalo Wild Wings. Demonstrating her dedication and skills, she was promoted to various management roles and eventually achieved the assistant general manager position.
After graduating from Blackhawk Technical College with a degree in criminal justice and psychology, Melita took a different path and joined the Rock County Sheriff’s Office. In the fall of 2021, she was recommended for the general manager position at Bessie’s Diner and returned to the industry she loved.
Melita’s favorite thing about Bessie’s is the unique atmosphere and getting to know the pilots and families that come in regularly.
STACEY FOLEY - RESTAURANT MANAGER
Stacey, originally from Beloit, now calls Janesville home with her husband and two children. From her beginnings as a prep cook, she advanced through the ranks at Mac’s Pizza and Milwaukee Grill. Seeking balance, she explored various roles before discovering her passion at Bessie’s Diner. Bringing her managerial expertise, she now leads as the restaurant manager at Bessie's, valuing effective communication in her role.
Stacey's genuine passion for hospitality shines through in the warm and inviting environment she creates for guests.
